  • Notes: Our designer strain doesn't produce as heavily as our standard Blue Pearl Oyster, but it scores 11/10 for looks and colour. It fruits in a soft light blue, and the mushrooms can shift towards blue/grey or tan depending on temperature and light. Give them good lighting to develop the full intensity of colour, and the cooler you can keep them, the better. Higher temperatures push the colour towards a rust tone, which also looks phenomenal. It's a strain adapted to growing through an Australian summer as well, though not if you're chasing the blue. The blue fades to grey or tan as the mushrooms mature, so harvest young.
