With this kit, you will need the following:-

What is included in the kit:
– Montotub kit V2.0 with Liner, air filter, and caps,
– Black Base (Also sold separately for people who got the tub before this base was launched, backward compatible)
-1 kg Sterile bag with injection port and air filter Your Options: Millet, Rye, Coco All in One, Manure All in One
-2 Kg CVG/Manure substrate, Substrate made in a way that lasts 6 weeks before use and still has enough moisture.
(Millet Rye and All in come bag coco comes with 2 kg CVG substrate and Manure all in one comes with 2 kg manure substrate), we take swap requests.
-Heavy duty atomiser fine mister 300ml bottle (Optional)
-Isopropyl 70% 100ml bottle
-Digital Video instruction (You will find a video instruction card in your package. To access the instructions, simply scan the QR code on the card with your phone.)
-Mushroom Casing Layer Sterilised (Optional)
To ensure proper function, inflate the product and leave it overnight to check for any leakage or deflation.
You have an upgrade — the new monotub now comes with a black base. One of the bases has a hole, and the other does not. When the inflatable monotub is fully inflated, you’ll notice a drainage hole. Place the black base with the hole aligned over the drainage hole, and position the solid base next to it. After this, you can add the liner.
The black base not only allows proper drainage but also adds sturdiness to the tub, making it easier to move around. Previously, moving the tub could cause it to break, but with this upgrade, it’s much more durable.
Which Gourmet mushroom can I grow with this monotub kit?
The best mushroom to grow is Swordbelt (grows in winter), but you can grow any oyster.
You can also try growing Portobello and almond mushrooms but we haven’t tested those mushrooms, if you plan to grow these mushrooms, order a Manure all in one Manure kit and ask us to send pasteurised casing instead of sterilised casing otherwise they won’t fruit, remember both Portobello and almond mushrooms are for advance growers and not for beginners.
Can I grow Shiitake?
No, you can’t grow shiitake in this kit. Shiitake requires wood substrate and more airflow this kit can provide.
